Alice Marie Langdon

Alice Marie Langdon was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, April 28th 1927. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 28, 2088. Alice was a former wife of Wayne Roy Langdon, a local water well driller. They moved to Ralston from Billings in 1950. Together they raised two sons, Robert and Douglas, and five daughters, Sharon, DiAnne, Vicki, June and Ginger.

Alice loved horses and worked them for many years in Billings before moving to Ralston. While in Billings, Alice and Wayne also enjoyed stock car races and rodeos.

Tending to customers at the Ralston Bar for 17 years, Alice was well known for her delicious cheeseburgers by many patrons. She tended bar in the Powell-Cody area for many years to follow until she moved to Byron and worked in Lovell in the kitchen at the Big Horn Restaurant which she retired from in 1991.

Alice enjoyed many years of sewing and she had a passion for going to yard sales to see what treasure she could find. She enjoyed working with flowers and working at the green house for Sandy Cannon. Another past time interest was playing poker machines, which she was always a winner no matter what.

Alice leaves behind her loving children son Robert (Sally) Langdon, Douglas Langdon both of Powell, four daughters DiAnne (Ron) Miller of Powell, Vickie (Rodney) Wesselman of Lewiston, Montana, June (John) Wilson of Puyallup, Washington and Ginger Langdon of Powell, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind beloved friend and companion of 20 years, Charles Scheeler.

Late husband Wayne, daughter Sharon and grandson JoeBob preceded Alice in death.

Funeral service will be held at the LDS church on Ave E Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Internment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Powell, Wyoming.
