Alta Reah Davis, age 52, of Powell, WY, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026. She was born on December 12, 1973, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Robert & Marita Wood. Alta married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Denton, in 1994. They have two boys, Kylander and Hunter.
Alta spent most of her life dedicated to helping children through childcare and teaching. She loved quilting, camping, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Alta brought immense joy to everyone who knew her, and her absence will be profoundly felt by everyone she touched.
Alta is survived by Denton Davis; Kylander (Ivy) Davis; Hunter Davis; her two grandchildren; her brother, Darin Wood; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wood; her mother, Marita Wood; and her brothers, William Wood, Robert Wood, and David Wood.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Grace Point Church, 550 Kattenhorn Dr.
