Charolette Armstrong Zachary
Charolette Armstrong Zachary of Powell died at her home on Friday, June 2, 2017. She was 67.
Charolette was born Oct. 16, 1949, in Farmerville, Louisiana, to Evard and Olivia Armstrong.
She received her degree as a registered nurse (RN) and worked for St. Vincent Hospital, cared for people through home health and also worked for Big Horn Enterprises in Powell. Charolette volunteered for the free clinic and took meals to home-bound residents.
She also volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and attended Lovell Bible Church.
Charolette enjoyed painting.
She married Chuck Zachary in 1999 in Sheridan, and the couple made their home in Billings, then moved to Powell in 2002.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Mike and sister Crys.
Charolette is survived by her husband Chuck of Powell; son Richard Faulk of Houston, Texas; daughter Lori and Brad Burgin of Rockwall, Texas; grandchildren Olivia and Cody Burgin; son Vincent Wiggins of McKinney, Texas; grandson Vinnie Wiggins; brothers Kevin Armstrong of Marion, Louisiana, and Brian Armstrong of Monroe, Louisiana; and sister Rhonda Abner of Tomball, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Lovell Bible Church in Lovell. Burial will follow at 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.
