Cheryl Ann Rodgers

Cheryl Ann Rodgers, born to Wilbur and Martha Lenhardt on Dec. 22, 1947, in Billings, Montana, passed away peacefully at her home in Powell, Wyoming, with her family by her side on Nov. 28, 2025.

She was one of eight siblings and graduated from Laurel High School in 1966. She participated in GAA and once held the records for most burpees, pullups, pushups and the 50-yard dash. She also participated in flag twirling and was a cheerleader at Laurel High School.

Cheryl met Lyle Rodgers in 1965 and they were married on Nov. 9, 1968. They were blessed with two children and were blessed in 2011 to become parents to their great nephew who they consider one of their own.

Cheryl was a beautician for many years, worked at McGlathery's Flower Shop for several years and retired from Walmart in 2013. Her cheerleading skills carried over to all three of her children throughout their lives. Her children were her pride and joy.

Cheryl also enjoyed gardening and canning tomatoes to share with her family and friends. Cheryl was known for her cooking, baking for others, her compassion and love. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more. Cheryl has always put others before herself.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lyle Rodgers; her children, Mike, Kristi and Braxton; and her grand puppies Sophie and Harper; siblings Tim (DeAnn), Nancy, Susan, sister-in-law Maurine and brother-in-law Terry; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Martha Lenhardt; brothers, Tommy, Terry and Jim; sister Jackie; brother-in-law Dennis Berger; and a niece, Phyllis.

A memorial service will be held at the Powell Church of God on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 at 11 a.m. with a reception following at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
