Dorthy Becker passed away on July 9, 2016, she would have been 86 years old on July 15. Dorthy and her husband, Arthur Becker of 67 years, resided together at the Heartland since September 2014. Previous to moving into the Heartland, Dorthy and Art had lived and worked in many areas including Frannie, Circle Ridge, Billings, Powell, Dubai, Cody, Cut Bank, Fort Morgan, and Thermopolis. Art worked for Conoco throughout their married life and says Dorthy was his partner for work and in raising their family.
Dorthy May Henry was born and raised in Frannie, Wyoming to Fred Henry and Mary Malliot on July 15, 1930. Dorthy and Art had four sons; Carroll, Steven (Cheri), Wayne (Sheila), and Mark (Nola), five grandchildren; Kyle (Willow), Kelly, Nick, Neil, Monica (Roger), and two great grandchildren; Abigail and Mark James. Sadly, their son Carroll Alan passed away on November 7, 2013.
After keeping up with numerous moves, traveling, and raising her family, Dorthy loved to spend her time in Thermopolis in her garden and being out in nature. Irises were her favorite flower. She was always up for a drive to see the countryside. Dorthy was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
