Douglas Kirkham

Douglas Paul Kirkham was born to Charles and Linda Kirkham (now Adams) on July 23, 1966. He passed into glory on Oct. 30, 2021.
A dear stepson to Ray; brother to Chuck (Maggie); a father to Heather, James, and Leah; and husband to Lou. A dear nephew to aunts and uncles; a cousin to cousins; a friend to many — the names are too many to list.
Doug was a Marine at heart. His 21-year career affected the lives of many, and he proudly served his country. Doug was hard working and steadfast, and he carried these attributes and his work ethic into his next career as a mailman. His smile as he delivered mail will be missed. Doug was also a golfer, a hunter and a fisherman, and he loved to be out camping in God’s country.
Our precious Doug fought his last battle knowing deep down in his soul that Jesus would carry him off the battlefield into his eternal rest and recuperation. Well done good and faithful servant — we love you and you leave a big gap on the earthly plain, but this is not “goodbye,” only “see you after a bit.”

A funeral service will be on Friday, Nov. 5, at 9:50 a.m., at Grace Point Church, in Powell. The service will also be livestreamed on the Grace Point website, www.gracepointpowell.org/live.
