Elnor Knutson went to be with her Lord and Savior  during the night of Nov.27,2014, a few days
after her 80th birthday.She was born to Ethel and Henry George and grew up in the Kinsey area.She was one of nine children.Her younger brother Joe George is the last remaining child of the group.
        She married Selmer Knutson and they had 2 daughters  Sudie and Rose. Elnor believed strongly  in Jesus Christ and
was active in her church. She was a rural school teacher for most of her adult life.She also had a heart for the elderly and for
children. She worked for many years as a nurse's aide.  She was lucky to find love later in life,calling Roy Hobbs "her cowboy,"the kindest man she had ever met."
    She loved to hunt bargains at St. Vincent de Paul's. It may have lost its best customer. She will be missed
very much by her friends and family. If you knew her color combos or had known her a long time you are more than welcome to make your outfit as bright and cheerful as she always did.Services will be held at Grace Bible church at 3505 Stower in Miles City,Mt..A short viewing will procede the service .Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m.  The memorial service will be at 11:00..A short lunch will follow the services and then internment at the family cemetary in Knowlton, Mt. She is survived by 2 daughters, Sudie Thormahlen (Elden) of Powell , Wy.and Rose Berg (Terry) of Helena, Mt. She has one grandson Josh (Kylee) Thormahlen , Laura Thormahlen, grandaughter-in-law and six great grandchildren,Colter,MaKaila, Katie Jo, Isabelle,Haden and Hudson Thormahlen.
