Elsie Pauline "Polly" Buchanan

Polly Buchanan, born Elsie Pauline Crocker, went to join our Lord March 16th, 2021. Polly was born to Calvin and Murtis(Prestage) Crocker on January 9th, 1935 in Cullman, Alabama. Polly had two wonderful sons; Al, and Jim Gundersen. Polly was preceded in death by her son Al, husband Don, both her parents and older brother Willie Crocker. Polly is survived by son Jim (George) Gundersen, granddaughter Amanda (Brian) Sanderson, and her two great grandsons Donald(Deak) and Timmothy. Also she is survived by adopted granddaughter Janese Lehman, and her two children Jackson, and Julianna.


Polly was a long time resident of Powell, Wyoming. She was a well known and loved member of her community. A long time member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Powell, she loved spending time with her church family. She made many lifelong friends while working at Anthonys. She then retired to a life on the farm with her husband Don. She took great pleasure in her garden, and taking care of her flowers. She loved her family unconditionally, and enjoyed spending time with them more than anything.Polly was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all. Her memorial service will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church in Powell, April 1st, 2021 at 9 am. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her name to the church.
