Ethel “Peg” M (Stearns) Nielsen

Ethel Margaret Peg” Nielsen 89” passed  away Thurs­day, May 24,  2018, Powell.

She was born Dec. 5, 1928, in Pullman, Washington to Ray and Ruth (Davis) Stearns. Af­ter graduating high school, she married  Harry Richard (Dick) Nielsen on July 22, 1948. They lived in Powell, where Peg was a bookkeeper and homemaker. 

She was a member of Faith Community Church.

Peg will be remembered for her love of family and God, strength through diversity, funny little quirks and relentless cookie baking , and her love of all things involving cats and chocolate. She was a gifted quitter and enjoyed fishing and hunting as well. Peg longed to be reunited with her late husband, and has received that blessing. We wish them peace in Heaven forever.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday June 2, 2018 at 10:00am, at the Faith Community Church, Powell.
