Glorianne Lohrenz Frame

Glorianne Lohrenz Frame passed away July 27th in Billings, MT with her loving daughter Cindy at her side.  She celebrated her 90th Birthday in February and was fortunate to enjoy good health for the vast majority of her life with the exception of her battle with cancer the past year and a half, a battle she fought valiantly.

Glory was born in Lovell, WY on February 5, 1932 to Conrad & Katherine Lohrenz, she was the youngest of 14 children.

She graduated from Deaver High School May 24, 1951.

She married Glen Frame November 17, 1951 and they had 2 daughters Connie & Cindy.  They made their homes in a number of places over the years from Nebraska, to Wyoming, and Montana.  Glory & Glen divorced in 1990.

Glory worked for and eventually retired from the Frenchtown MT school district, after many years of dedicated service in the cafeteria and as a janitor.  After retirement she moved back to Powell, WY where she lived for nearly 30 years and enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances as well as spending time with her brothers and their families that lived in the area.  She was active in her church and loved working for years at their boutique.

Glory was a loving, devoted, and deeply beloved Grandma to Jeff, Sean, Tucker, & Lance, and later was proud to be a great Grandma to Liam, Aidan, and Haileigh Glorianne, her namesake, spending a lot of quality time with all of them whenever she got the chance.  She developed deep individual relationships with all of them.  When she spent time with a person she was always so present and engaged with them and had a way to make a person feel special and loved when they were in her presence.   She was a wonderful cook; always ready with a home cooked meal filled with comfort favorites, she seemed happiest when she was making sure that everyone was well fed.  She was compassionate and positive, supporting all of the many endeavors that her family pursued. When she wasn’t cooking she loved playing cards, especially Pinochle, a family favorite that was handed down to all of the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.  She was active in a pinochle club in Powell and loved hosting her friends as well as enjoying lunches with them through the years at the Skyline Cafe.

Glory worked hard over the years to keep the Lohrenz family connection strong organizing an annual family picnic that brought relatives from all over back together to reconnect & celebrate their shared heritage.

Glory is survived by Daughter Cindy (Steve) Inman, Grandsons Jeff (Kristi) Frame, Tucker, & Lance (Devony) Inma, and Great Grandchildren Liam, Aidan, & Haileigh Glorianne Frame.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Connie, Grandson Sean, her parents Conrad & Katherine, and siblings George, Frieda, Katie, Johnny, Sarah, Harry, Esther, Bill, Victor, Ruth, Ed, Harvey, & Robert.
