Harriet Ann Trustem, 96, of Powell passed away at Powell Valley Healthcare on April 25, 2026.

 She was the daughter of Harry and Mildred (Kittleson) Percy and was born on April 6, 1930 in Mason City, Iowa.

After high school, Harriet continued her education receiving a Master of Nursing degree which led to her occupation as Professor of Nursing at Bellin College of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner in Green Bay WI.

She married Glenn Eldon Trustem on May 12, 1953 in Mason City, Iowa and they lived in Green Bay, WI, and Naples, Florida , where her husband  passed away.   She then relocated to Powell, WY. They were affiliated with the Lutheran Church.  Glen and Harriet belonged to the Sons of Norway.

Her hobbies included Rosemaling , a traditional Norwegian form of decorative folk art, and knitting. 

She loved to travel and especially enjoyed visiting her family.

Harriet was preceded in death by her mother and father, (Mildred and Harry Percy), her husband, (Glenn Trustem); her sister and brother-in-law,(Mae and Joe Code); her sister and brother-in-law (Wanda and Larry Smiley); her Brothers -in -law (Dean Roberts and Cliff Lund).

Harriet is survived by her son, David Trustem (Dori Dyvig) of Powell ; daughter.AmyTrustem of Green Bay WI. and Brother- in -law and sister-in -law; Jim and Joanne Trustem of Mount Horeb, WI; sisters-in -law; Liz Roberts (Powell ) and Alice Lund (Woodville, WI.)

Also surviving Harriet are her grandchildren. Ryan and Sarah Trustem of Dickinson, ND. , Courtnie and Clayton Tucker of Cody, WY; Allison Trustem of Billings, MT, and Tyler and Katelyn Watson of Bourbonnais, IL She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews,

A small family gathering will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell at a later date.
