James Ree Thomas died Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell. He was 88.
James was born Aug. 29, 1928, in Pleasanton, Kansas, to Maude (Landon) and Roy Thomas. He was educated through grade school. He was employed in construction, and enjoyed four-wheeling, camping and fishing.
James was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roy and Melvin, and sisters Cleo Smith and Annabelle Smith.
He is survived by stepson John Jenson; daughter Paula (Greg) Sandstrom; two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, at Thompson Funeral Home with a 2 p.m. graveside service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
