Jo Ann Elizabeth Edmonds died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, in Powell. She was 82.
Jo Ann was born to Erma Elizabeth (Bushey) and Kenneth Wiley Graham on Nov. 30, 1933, in Powell.
She attended local schools, graduating from Powell High School and then Northwest College.
Jo Ann married Duane S. Edmonds on Jan. 28, 1956, in Powell. The couple lived in Seattle, and returned home to Powell upon retirement in 1989.
The couple had two sons, Craig and Gregory, and Jo Ann was a homemaker.
She was a member of United Methodist Church in Powell, and also was involved in the Red Hat Ladies and Ladies Auxiliary of VFW.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Duane, who died in December 2007; her parents; and sisters Norma Phillips and Willie Grace Graham.
She is survived by her sons Craig (Julie) Edmonds of Puyallup, Washington, and Gregory (Ana) Edmonds of Phoenix; brother Pat (Kathy) Graham of Powell; sister Martha Harmon of Sheridan; five grandchildren, Amanda (Brock), Chad, Megan, Jacqueline and Rachel; and one great-grandchild, Harper, who is due in May 2016.
A celebration of life service will be held in the summer of 2016.
Memorial donations in Jo Ann’s name can be made to the United Methodist Church in Powell, to the areas of greatest need.
Burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
