Jody Rae Sessions

Jody Rae Allen Sessions, 64, passed away at her home on April 5, 2022.

She was born in Shakopee, Minnesota, to Charles and Verlinda Sandeen Allen. She grew up in Minnesota and also spent time in Bloomington, Illinois, before relocating to Powell.

She married Jerry Sessions on Nov. 14, 2009, in Powell. Jody was employed as a surgical tech at Powell Valley Healthcare. 

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jody enjoyed cooking in her spare time.

She is survived by her husband Jerry, a brother Randy (Suzy) Allen, and four sisters: Terry, Donna, Dawn and Shelley — all of Minnesota.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at 10 a.m., at the Ave. E Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Powell.
