Joyce D. (Eden) Hildebrandt died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Spirit Mountain Hospice in Cody. She was 43.
Joyce was born on Sept. 21, 1972, to Brenda L. (McFarland) and Keith L. Eden.
She attended public schools in Powell, Monterey, California, Munich, Germany, and graduated from high school in San Angelo, Texas. Joyce attained an associate’s degree from Northwest College in Powell, and then attended the University of Wyoming, majoring in business.
Joyce married Timothy Hildebrandt on Aug. 7, 2005, in Montrose, Colorado.
She worked in retail management with the Wal-Mart Corporation in Colorado and New Mexico, and then worked in retail sales at Powell Drug Store. She also was the manager of Maurices Clothing in Cody.
Joyce was an active and enthusiastic photographer, stamp-it-up carder and she loved making scrapbooks.
She was a longtime member of Alcyone Chapter No. 27, Order of the Eastern Star, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Powell.
Joyce attended Union Presbyterian Church in Powell.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred W. Eden and Hildreth “Skinny†(Lange) Eden and Joseph and Violet McFarland.
Joyce is survived by her husband Timothy Hildebrandt of Powell; daughter Sierra (Cricket) Hildebrandt; parents Keith L. and Brenda Eden of Powell; brother Fred J-E. Eden of Fort Worth, Texas, and nephew (?) Kenneth L. Eden of Cheyenne.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, at Union Presbyterian Church in Powell, with Dr. Rev. Jeff Baxter officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening, for family only.
Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell.
Pallbearers will be Dennis L. Eden, Cordell Eden, Kory White, Gary Hildebrandt, Kenneth Eden and James Gullion. Honorary pallbearers are Lupe Escopedo IV, Dennis L. Eden, Donald Eden, William Eden, Mick McFarland and Ray Gullion.
Memorial donations in Joyce’s name can be made to Spirit Mountain Hospice in Cody.
