Linda Hoffmann of Powell died at her home on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013. She was 66.
She was born May 29, 1947, to Opal (Steele) and Walter Buchli in Powell.
Linda grew up in Powell, attending local schools and Powell High School.
Over the years, Linda lived in Wyoming, California and Colorado.
She married Arthur Nelson on March 7, 1970, in Gillette. Linda married LeRoy “Buddy†Hoffmann in Powell on Feb. 19, 2000.
Linda was a housewife and a devoted mother and grandmother. She worked at Classic Lanes and at Hansels in Powell.
Linda was rough around the edges, but had a heart of gold.
She was preceded in death by Arthur Nelson and her parents Walter and Opal Buchli.
Linda is survived by her husband LeRoy; sons Travis (Mary) Mayer and Troy Hoffmann; daughters Misty (Shane) Hammond and Brittany (Jeremiah) Hutchins; brothers Carroll (Millie) Buchli, Kenny (Audrey) Buchli, Ronnie (Joan) Buchli, Calvin (Margaret) Buchli; sister Marsha (Monty) Ankrom; eight grandchildren; and many other great friends and family.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell. Visitation will precede the funeral, beginning at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino, Calif.
The family has requested that memorial donations be sent to Thompson Funeral Home at P.O. Box 807 Powell, WY 82435.
