Obituary

Linda Jo Martin passed away on March 20, 2026, at 8:24 P.M in the Powell Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Linda was born on December 5,1960 in Laramie, Wy to Gerald and Neva Warner. She was the third oldest of five children. She attended school in Laramie, Wy and Cheyenne, Wy schools. Linda went to High School in Torrington, Wy, where she had her first child. She then met Ron Lampman in Torrington, Wy in 1980 and soon married and had three children. In 1989 they divorced. She fell in love with Grant Martin, the love of her life. Linda and Grant got married on October 1, 1991, and moved to Powell, Wy where she resided with Grant until her last breath. Linda had the love of family, friends, outdoors, just life in general. If you were fortunate to know Linda, she loved you unconditionally and helped in any way she could. She was a spit fire, who loved to speak her mind. If she had an opinion, she would gladly let you hear it. Linda was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. If you had the privilege of knowing her you were lucky.

Linda's words:

“My children were my biggest accomplishment in my life. I am so very proud of all of you and I always have been. I will always love you and be with you. Please don’t forget to love each other, you are all family and you need each other. I love you so so much never forget that. Love Mom”

Linda is survived by Her husband Grant Martin, Sister Alice and Dennis Heilbrun of Torrington, WY, Sister Mary Lampman of Sterling, Colorado, Daughter Tami and Billy Wood of Cody, WY, Son Chuck and Nicole Lampman of Bryan, Texas, Daughter Heidi Lampman and fiancé Bob Hine of Mills, WY, Daughter Annie Nading and fiancé Nick Viig of Powell, WY

Linda had eight grandkids that she loved dearly. Catie bug, J.D Zarate of Powell, WY, Ivy Zarate of Casper, Wy, Samantha Zarate of Cody, WY, Tasha Lampman of Bryan, Texas, Tori Lampman of Bryan, Texas, Elizabeth Nading (Peanut) of Powell, Wy, Hunter Viig (Bimbo) of Powell, Wy

She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Neva Warner, Her first grandchild Catherine Zarate (Catie bug), Her brother Harry Warner, and Her sister Hazel Kanzler. Linda Jo Martin will be cremated at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell, Wy.

Celebration of life will be in Powell, WY in July 2026
