Funeral services will be Monday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell for Margaret Gullion, 67, of Bridger, Montana who died Wednesday, October 22, 2009 at St. Vincent?s Hospital after a long fight against heart disease.

She was born January 31, 1942, in Powell, Wyoming to Clyde and Ruby (Jones) Gullion. She had many nicknames like Mag, Marg, Margie & Grams.

She graduated from Powell High School in 1960. She continued her education at the Cody Hospital as a lab tech and then moved to Denver to work at National Jewish Hospital. While in Denver she met Jack Jackson and followed him to London England where they were married on January 7, 1966. After Jack was honorably discharged from the Air Force, they lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Utah and eventually settled in Billings, Montana where she was a housewife and mother. They later divorced. In 1978 she moved to Amarillo, Texas where she continued her career in the medical field. In 1991 she decided to move back home to Powell to be closer to her family. In 1994 she moved to Cody to work at West Park Hospital until her heart attack in 2000. She lived in Powell until 2008 when she decided to move to Bridger, Montana.

She loved to sing, it didn?t matter if it was on her karaoke machine or with the radio in the car. She also enjoyed home decorating, working in her vegetable and flower gardens, cooking big family dinners, loving everyone and computer games. She loved the word ?Grace? and all that it means.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Annette (Raymond) Gonzales of Powell, her two grandsons Joshua (Erin) Lovelady and their daughter Tegan of Powell, Matthew (TC) Lovelady of Casper, and only granddaughter Nikki Gonzales of Powell. She is also survived by three sisters, Jamesetta Roane of Casper, Juanita (Jerry) Brost of Cody, Fae (Frank) Weir of Casper and a brother Bill (Leah) Gullion of Powell.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Interment will be in Penrose Cemetery. Thompson Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
