Marvin L Iverson

Marvin Leslie Iverson, died 19 September 2017 in Billings,Yellowstone,Montana of heart, lung, and kidney failure. Marvin Leslie Iverson was born 13 May 1948 in Webster,Day,South Dakota to Iver Olaf Iverson and Della Mae Gusenius. After graduation from high school in Lead,South Dakota, he attended college in Provo,Utah. He met Linda Jean Saunders while they were attending college in Provo. They married 2 July 1968 for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 
They are the parents of 5 children, 23 grand children, and 3 great grandchildren. He is survived by brothers Myren (Anne) of San Diego, Lonnie in Utah, and Keith Iverson, and sister Laurel (Robin) Lyman of Utah. He leaves son Jory (Nicki) of Pasco,Washington, daughters Leslie (Craig) Jones of Otto,Wyoming; LeAnn (Destry) Andrew of Burlington,Wyoming; CoriAnn (Justin) Morgan of Riverton,Wyoming; and Ellie (Aaron) Young in Germany.
Also left to mourn are grandchildren: Camilla (McKay) Hancock of Pocatello,Idaho; Brinna (Taylor) Forsyth of Rexburg,Idaho; Stevie (David) Flores in Mexico; Adam Jones on a LDS mission in South Carolina, Connor Jones, Halli Jones, Camden Jones in Otto,Wyoming; Kylie (Darrick) Chapman of Kennewick,Washington, Jory T, Dallin, Camri, and Cody Iverson of Pasco,Washington; Ranel, Rykael, Raygen, Rulon, and Raiden Andrew of Burlington,Wyoming; Maddie and Jocelyn Morgan of Riverton; Kolby Young on a LDS mission in SLC,Utah, Aaron Jr., Parker, and David Young in Germany. His 3 great-grand children: Weston and Adelynn Chapman; and Hyrum Hancock will only have stories to know their Grandpa by.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.
Marvin was a wonderful man, who cared lots, he always had time to listen and give advice.
His brother, Lonnie, says: And who would have thought I could have witnessed your generosity in helping out a struggling LDS ward. The ward was seeking money to build a chapel. Many of us would have said that's too bad, but not Marvin. He had to get involved. He wrote them out a check and gave it to them freely.
And I marveled at your mind. You came up with ways to fix mechanical problems that were astounding and so unique. You were gifted in your ability to solve problems.Your kindness is overwhelming. You will be sorely missed.
Daughter CoriAnn says: my dad is the smartest man I know, and the toughest, the most tender hearted, and the most ingenious man too! He gained a love of music through his mother, and it always touched his heart! I'm so grateful for the life he gave me, the strength, and the love! He far exceeded his responsibilities of father, provider, and protector! I love you Dad and I will miss warmth of your big, strong hands.

Another friend remarked: I respected his thoughts and that his paths were always true to himself. And what a family! So successful where it really counts!

Goodbye Marvin Iverson. You will be sorely missed.

Graveside services will be held Saturday September 23 at 2:00 pm at the Otto Cemetery.
