Patricia Joan Dozah died Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Powell Valley Care Center. She was 85.
She was born March 20, 1929, in Bridgeport, Neb. Patricia was the only child of Perel and Bess Vannatter Golden.
She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1947. She went on to graduate in 1950 from St. Luke's School of Nursing in Denver with her registered nursing degree.
Pat married Gene Dozah in October 1949. She was active in the field of nursing for more than 40 years, living in Greeley, Colo., San Diego, Calif., and Powell.
Pat loved to golf. She also loved all animals and was active in the bridge club.
Pat is survived by her daughters Deborah (Gary) Mefford of Powell and Denise Dozah and Maureen Stauton of Casper; granddaughter Cassidy (Ben) Love; and great-grandson Maverick Paul.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Dozah, grandson Paul Mefford and parents Pearl and Bess.
Memorials may be sent to the Powell Animal Shelter or St. John's Episcopal Church.
Memorial services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, March 6, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Powell.
Arrangements are being handled by Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory.
