Patricia Ann Jones

Devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Pat Jones, 84, died of natural causes on Feb. 5, 2016, surrounded by family, at Powell Valley Healthcare.
She was born to Hubert and Ruby Hill and grew up on their farm on Road 12.
She attended Powell schools and graduated with the class of 1949, following which she took night classes for one year at Northwest Community College.
She met her future husband, Kenneth Jones in 1948, and they were married in 1949. They had two daughters, Vicki Lee Nicholls and Trudy Ann Fisher, and one daughter who was stillborn. Pat loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.
She had several jobs in life from making custom drapes, store clerk, receptionist, to painting houses which she enjoyed the most.
Following her retirement, she went back to Northwest and took art classes for seven years to become an artist, which she loved. She became an accomplished artist and painted many beautiful landscapes.
Over their 67-year marriage, Pat and Ken were avid camping and boating enthusiasts and enjoyed exploring the natural wonders of Wyoming and Montana. Pat also took great pride in being a descendant of the original homesteaders on the Powell flat.
Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She also enjoyed the technology of the current generation with her iPad that was always close by when she wanted to read or chat or play games with other members of the family. She looked forward to Monday lunch book exchange with her friends and Tuesday bridge club.
She dearly loved her dogs and always had one.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Ruby Hill, and daughter Karen Jones.
She is survived by her husband Ken Jones; daughters Trudy (Perry) Fisher; Vicki (Norm) Nicholls; three grandchildren Casey (Jael) Fisher, Heidi (Mike) Bell, Cass (Sarah) Nicholls; and five great-grandchildren: Aubree and Cody Fisher, Libby and Kylee Bell and Brentley Nicholls.
Services will be Thursday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Eagles Lodge.
