Pauline Joyce McAdam, 66, of Powell, Wyoming, passed away on June 2, 2026, in Billings, Montana, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, service, and devotion to her family and community.

Born on January 21, 1960, to Roy Eugene and Muriel Janis (Lawson) Harris, Pauline grew up in the area and graduated from Powell High School. It was in Powell where she met the love of her life, Calvin McAdam. The couple married on August 15, 1981, and built a beautiful life together rooted in love and community spirit.

One of Pauline’s greatest joys was cooking and baking for others, a passion she turned into a career. For 28 years, she served as a cook at Powell High School. She deeply loved feeding the youth of Powell, and her warm presence left a lasting impression on generations of locals. Long after her retirement, she took immense joy in running into former students and staff members around town.

Pauline was a dedicated volunteer who poured her heart into making Powell a better place. She contributed her time to Backpack Blessings and the Powell Valley Healthcare gift shop, and she was a proud member and leader with the Girl Scouts. When she wasn't volunteering, she could be found tending to her garden, shopping, or spending winters in Arizona. Pauline was known for her high energy, always ensuring she got her daily steps in wherever her travels took her. Above all, her favorite moments were those spent with her husband, daughters and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Calvin McAdam; her daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Charley Lawrence, and Heidi and Damian Dicks; her sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Curtis Cockrell; and her four cherished grandchildren, Carson and Dayton Lawrence, and Cambree and Dylan Dicks. As well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Muriel Harris; and her brothers, Aaron Harris and Doug Harris.

A funeral service celebrating Pauline's life will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the New Life Church
