Raymond Louis Farwell
(Nov. 18, 1939 - July 10, 2015)

Raymond Louis Farwell, 76, died Friday, July 10, after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He passed away at home surrounded by his family.

Besides his family, Ray’s passion was farming. He started out on the original family homestead on East Willwood with his dad, and over the past 50 years grew the farm into what it is today.
Ray served on the Willwood Irrigation Board for many years and received the top 10 sugar beet grower award many times. He loved farming and collecting antique tractors. Ray will be remembered for his willingness to help anybody, his quiet, kind and loving nature, and his love of the dirt and John Deere tractors.
