Raymond T. Hensley, 62, died May 30, 2010, at Powell Valley Hospital.

He was born Oct. 26, 1947, in Valdez, Alaska, the son of Raymond C. and Lorraine M. (Strack) Hensley.

Raymond attended school through the 11th grade before joining the U.S. Navy. He married Sandi Vanderhoff on Oct. 14, 1967.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Sandi; daughters Christine Belford (Richard) and Dawn Cavazos (Carlos); and three grandchildren. Thompson Funeral Home is handling arrangments, and services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at
