Rickey was born on Jan. 11, 1959, in Casper to Meridell J. (Black) and Delbert D. Burgess.
Following high school, he worked as a welder. Rickey enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and hanging out with his second family at BHE. (Big Horn Enterprises?)
Rickey is survived by his sons Adam (Lori) Burgess and Ryan Burgess of Powell; brother Jerry Burgess of Powell; and sister Karen (Roy) Lesher of Powell; and three grandchildren Trentin, Naithen and Kayley Burgess.
He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Meridell Burgess.
