Robert “Bob” Webber, 87, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2025. He was born on Feb. 21, 1938, in Powell, Wyoming, to Leo and Clara (Dietz) Webber.Bob was raised in Powell and later moved to southern California for work, where he met the love of his life, Dolores Morrison. 

    They were married on March 4, 1958, in Las Vegas, Nevada. After the birth of their first child, Tammy, Bob felt the strong pull of home and eventually convinced Dolores to return with him to Wyoming — an adventure he promised would be the journey of a lifetime. Settling back in Powell, they completed their family with the additions of Bobby (Chip), Kim and Larry.Bob and Dolores were active members of the First Southern Baptist Church and were baptized together on their fourth wedding anniversary — an enduring symbol of their shared faith and love.A pillar of perseverance and dedication, Bob farmed in the Powell community for over 70 years.              His work ethic was unmatched, even in his later years. Despite numerous health challenges, he remained steadfast in his commitment to family and to living life to the fullest. He cherished time spent with loved ones, especially when it involved a lively game of cards. 

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Dolores; his sister Lela Elwood; his children: Tammy (Russ), Bobby (Cyndi), Kim (Ernie) and Larry (Betty); and his grandchildren: Mandy, Joshua, Dusty Ratcliff, Aaron, Alicia, Katy Webber, Alex and Zane Copenhaver, Tyler and Kyle Webber. He was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Clara Webber; sisters, Betty Reynolds and Shirley Turner; brother-in-law, Lynn Elwood; and great-grandson, Caden Ratcliff.Though his presence will be deeply missed, Bob’s spirit, wisdom and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses at the Cody dialysis center and also Dr. Tracy and Dr. Ganz for the compassionate care they provided.A viewing will be held on Friday, June 6, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, at 2 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church (formerly First Southern Baptist Church) at 700 E. Madison in Powell. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Powell Senior Citizen Center Building Fund, the American Heart Association or the National Kidney Foundation.
