Bob McNeill, 73, died Thursday, January 15 at the Powell Valley Hospital. Memorial services for Bob will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.

Bob McNeill was born February 5, 1935 in Flint, Michigan to Lynn and Ruby McNeill. On February 16, 1957, he married Dorothy Ort in Casper, Wyoming. The couple had three children.

Bob was a teacher for Lamont Public Schools of Lamont, Washington, School District No.1 of Powell, Wyoming, and a teacher/administrator for the Lower Kuskokwin School District of Bethel, Alaska.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, of Powell, Wyoming; his son, Ron (Alesa) McNeill of Honolulu, Hawaii; his daughter Ede (Jim) Dozier of Cody, Wyoming; his son-in-law Greg Bentley of Garland, Wyoming; five grandchildren, Jared and Trent Dozier, Corrie and Lee Bentley, and Amy McNeill; five great-grandchildren; and his brother Pat McNeill of Kennewick, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Von Bentley; his granddaughter, KayCie Bentley; and his brother Lynn McNeill.

Memorials may be sent to Absorkee Masonic Lodge #30 of Powell, Wyoming.
