Robert Glenn See

August 21,1941—July 4, 2026

Robert “Bob” Glen See, 84, of Powell, passed away at his home on July 4, 2026.

He was born in Belfry, Montana, the son of Claude and Mary Georganna See on August 21, 1941. Bob grew up in Powell and graduated from Powell High School.

Bob farmed with his family. He married Barbara Barnhill and to this marriage three sons were born; Glenn, Deven and David .His work history includes farming, working at McGlathry’s Green house and retail flower and plant store and at Wyoming Sprinklers.

On August 20, 2010, Bob married Ella Hemovich.

Bob was a proud member of the Powell Jaycees and liked serving the community with the many projects the Jaycees sponsored.

Woodworking found Bob in his shop producing many beautiful items for his loved ones and friends. His yard and garden were kept beautiful his entire life even in his sickness. Ella and Bob looked forward every year to their time spent camping in the Beartooth mountains.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ella; sons Glenn (Rebecca) in Hawaii, Deven (Tong) of Moscow, Idaho, and David (Donna) of Billings, Montana. Also surviving him are his stepsons, Ron Thayer (Kelly) of Utah and Rod Thayer (Toni) of Idaho. Brothers, Ron See and Roger (Linda) See and sister, Helen (Herb) Miller of  Nampa, Idaho and many special nieces and nephews survive him. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two step children, James and Todd Thayer and sister in law Mary Jane.

 Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 27, at 10:00 am at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
