Rosalie Williams

Rosalie Ann (Heppel) Williams of Powell passed away on Saturday October 3, 2009. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by many, and never forgotten.

Rosalie was born July 28, 1938 in Powell, WY to L.E. (Gene) and Eva Heppel.

In June 1956, Rosalie married Melvin Flitcraft in Bakersfield, CA. where they had four children. She later married Richard Williams in Powell, WY. December 1971.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and was a very gifted seamstress, sewing and crafting many beautiful things for her children and grandchildren. She particularly enjoyed her memberships in the Birthday Club and Secret Sisters. She had a warm and loving heart and was an optimistic mother who found the good in everyone and everything, even when her children challenged that.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, Richard; children Jerry Flitcraft, Susan (Dave) Dillie, Cindy (Charles) Norris, Jeff Flitcraft, stepchildren Rick, Linda, Mitch, and Lisa and their spouses, 19 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, sister Donna (Don) Kasinger, and brother Keith (Peggy) Heppel.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, brother L.E. (Sonny) Heppel, and sister Connie (Heppel) Slater.

In celebration of Rosalie's life, a memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Thompson's Funeral Home in Powell. Pastor Kurt McNabb will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
