Sharon Lee Fink, 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Powell on January 20, 2026.
Sharon was born on August 27, 1952, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to Fred and Marion Gribble. Her family moved to Southern California during her youth, and after graduating from high school, she continued north, eventually settling in San Andreas, California.
Sharon proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She attended basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas and was later stationed at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., in 1974. Her love for her country and its people remained strong throughout her life.
She later moved to Lovell, Wyoming, a place she chose to make her permanent home. Sharon worked a variety of jobs over the years, including flagging and irrigation pipe work. While working at a new bentonite plant, she met the love of her life, Jim. The two were married in 1983 and built a life rooted in hard work, love, and family.
Sharon and Jim had two sons, Zachery and Timothy, who, in her words, “hung the moon and the stars” for her. The couple eventually settled on Jim’s farm, where they lived until 2023, before moving to Powell — Sharon’s final stop.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; her sons, Zachery and Timothy; one granddaughter; one grandson; and her oldest brother, Fred Gribble and his wife, Jacque, of Pueblo, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marion Gribble; her sister, Karen; and her brother, Keith.
