Sharon Mauvee O'Donnell

Sharon Mauvee O’Donnell, 71, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, in Powell.

Sharon was born June 8, 1947, in Gillette to Tom Demos and Lois (Green) Emerson. She attended grade school in Belle Fourche, South Dakota and graduated from high school in Baker, Montana. 

On Dec. 4 1965, she married Michael William O’Donnell of Baker, Montana. 

Sharon was a homemaker and substitute high school teacher. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Altar Society and Catholic Women’s Organization. Her interests included flowers, crafting, Montana Cowbells and Spartan Boosters. In addition to Wyoming, Montana and South Dakota, Sharon also lived in Colorado for a time.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Thadd (Tracie) O’Donnell and Casey (Jodie) O’Donnell, one daughter, Jill (Richard) O’Donnell-Zickefoose; one brother, Tom (Dawn) Demos; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.

A funeral Mass was held on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at St. Barbara’s Catholic Church in Powell, with a Rosary held the evening before. Burial will be at a future date in Baker, Montana.
