Shelley June Ransier Waldron of Cody passed away peacefully at her home on September 16, 2025, just days before her 70th birthday. She was born on September 22, 1955, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Floyd and Elisabeth (Smith) Ransier. Shelley received her high school diploma and later married Victor Waldron on March 27, 1976, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
A member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, Shelley’s faith was an important part of her life. In her free time, she enjoyed her ministry, diamond painting and spending time with her family. She is survived by her mother, Elisabeth Oliver; her husband of 49 years, Victor Waldron; her children, Larry (Crystal) Waldron and Stephanie (Lucas) Vaughn; her grandchild Delaney Vaughn; her identical twin sister Jean Birkelo, brother Rick Ransier, and sister Cheryl Morgan. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Ransier.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2702 Cougar Ave., Cody, Wyoming. Memorials may be sent to Victor Waldron, 103 Buena Vista Ave., Cody, WY 82412.
