Teresa Jane Coorough

Teresa Jane Coorough of Powell died Oct. 5, 2017, in Billings. She was 72.

Teresa was born Oct. 6, 1944, in Cody to Glen and Lydia Hill. She graduated from Cody High School in 1964. Teresa and James Coorough were married in Cody on Jan. 15, 1965, and lived in Powell. 

She worked at Sunlight Photographics in Powell for several years before her retirement, and belonged to the Powell Elks and Big Horn Basin Boat Club. She was a member of the Presbyterian church. Teresa was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father Glen, mother Lydia, and brother-in-law Gary Klentz.

Teresa is survived by her husband James Coorough, son Bryan (Tory) Coorough, grandson Skyler Coorough, granddaughter Abbey Coorough, and sister Shirley Klentz of Riverton.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Powell Elks Club, 581 North Clark Street.

Memorials may be made to the family at 1084 Road 9, Powell, WY 82435 to help with medical expenses.
