Virginia Mae Lindsay

Virginia (Whaley) Lindsay, 95, Peacefully passed from this world on November 13,2024.

She was born in Oconto, Nebraska on July 7, 1929 and moved to Wyoming as a child. she met Wilson Lindsay in 1949 and they married on September 3, 1950. He passed after 53 years of Marriage. 

She and a group of friends made over a thousand quilts and donated them to charities. She enjoyed gardening, going camping and exploring the great beauty of Wyoming. She was an avid reader and a lifetime leaner. She was a kind person that wasn't afraid to speak her mind. 

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Wilson Lindsay, Her Daughter Christine Shuffield, her Granddaughter Kimberly Hamblin, Great-Great Grandchildren Scarlette & Thomas. 

She is Survived by her son Michael Lindsay, Brother Elmer, Grandchildren Shiloh Shuffield, Sara Shuffield, Elizabeth Botha, and Teri Cramer, By her Great-Grandchildren Krista Gunter, Riley Burgher, and Harrison Armstrong and by her Great-Great- Grandchildren Kaius and Kari Gunter, Alex Shuffield, and Joshua, Angela and Emily.
