Vivian Howland

Vivian Howland passed peacefully at the Spirit Mountain Hospice House in Cody, WY on Sunday April 16th, 2023, she was 94 years young.  She was born April 11, 1929 in Utica, MN, the daughter of Edward and Martha Prudoehl.

Vivian was the Postmaster in Cummings, ND for 30 years, where she loved helping people.   Upon retiring she enjoyed traveling, visiting casinos, and playing cards with family and friends. While living at Heartland assisted living in Powell, WY  She loved playing Bingo, and winning candy bars to save, and  share with her Great Grandkids. 

Vivian is survived by her Daughter Sharon and son in law Fred(Joe)Althoff of Powell, WY.  Grandkids JoAmy(Chris) Brucks of Farmington, NM; Nicole(Ted) Notestine of Glendale, AZ; Andy(Valoree) Althoff of Farmington, NM.Great-Grandchildren, Joseph, Hannah, Nicholas, Kisa, Ethan, Shaniya,  Her Grand and Great Grandpups,, and many nieces and nephews.  She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.  Burial will take place at the Salem Lutheran cemetary, Rural Cummings ND  this summer
